You are a good poster. Also i forgot to answer that one debian question you asked me. i think debian is good becuase of the package manager, also it is lighter and less buggy than most distros.
Thanks for the kind comment, NightOwl. I remember reading that Ubuntu had scrapped aptitude, which is pretty sad. (although you could maybe easily install it through the package manager, and use it instead?) I once used apt-get and I just ran into dependency hell with a message saying "fucking fix this, *then* call me". While aptitude is slower and less user-friendly since it doesn't have a qualm about asking you "how do you want me to fix this?", it really helps me avoid these nightmares. So I can attest to that. I haven't been distro-jumping much since I've fallen in love with Debian, so I'm unaware of how it fares against other distros. But now, I won't be trying Ubuntu anytime soon. Thanks for that!

Yes. I've still got a long way to go, but I can read comics comfortably. (although with a dictionary in hand)
